If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Southend-on Sea, then why not choose the Moorings Bed and Breafast? As one of our guests put it, it is "A home away from home, by the sea". With our clean rooms, hearty breakfasts and seafront postition, we're sure you'll agree.

I started the business with my husband John in 2004 to make sure that visitors to our seaside town could enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The Bed and Breakfast is only 15 minutes walk to the town centre and directly opposite the beach, making it a great place to stay, whether you are are on holiday, visiting friends or working in the area.
